This Customer Data Protection Policy under (A) does not apply to Customers who are looking for a Professional to perform Cleaning Work and wish to be served by a Professional hired by Hiremykonos. The following Customer Data Protection Policy under (B) applies to these Customers
The protection of your personal data and information is a top priority for Hiremykonos and the basis for the relationship of trust that we are trying to create with you.
With this statement on the Protection of Personal Data Policy, we wish to inform you about the way in which the Worker collects, processes, uses and stores your personal information and data (hereafter collectively referred to as ¨Personal Information¨ or ¨Personal Data¨ or ¨Personal Data).
By visiting our Website and using it in any way, such as by subscribing to our Services, you unconditionally accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of our Terms of Use, in conjunction with which it should be read and interpreted. In the event that you do not accept this Privacy Policy either in part or in whole, please stop visiting this Website and/or making any use of it or its Services.
1-Framework of the Personal Data Protection Policy
The collection, processing and use of your Personal Data by Hiremykonos is governed by the provisions of Greek and European law, such as indicatively by the provisions of Law 2774/1999 “on the protection of personal data in the telecommunications sector” and of Ord. 95 /46/EC and 97/66/EC, as applicable.
Hiremykonos bears no responsibility for the terms of collection and processing of personal data that apply to other websites to which our Website refers in the form of links.
2-Collection of Personal Data by the Slave
2.1. When registering the Customer
In order to use the Hiremykonos Services, you will be asked to register with them so that we can create an account for you through which you will be able to post on Hiremykonos the Jobs for which you are looking for a Professional.
During the registration process, we will ask you for the following Personal Information:
-Full name
-Mobile and/or landline phone number
You will also be asked to select and enter the password to the account we will create for you, as well as to accept the Terms and Conditions of Use.
2.2. When registering Jobs
Each time you attempt to register a Job, you will be asked to fill out a form. There, we ask you for information and clarifications regarding the Work you wish to be performed, in order for us to better understand the scope of the Work and to notify the Professionals who may be interested in undertaking it, but also for the Professionals themselves to assess whether they can and if they want to claim the Job and therefore obtain your details and submit their Offer to you. This clarifying information we ask for may also include some personal information, such as your address. Also, you may be asked to enter the A.F.M. and the A.M.K.A. you in the event that you choose to authorize the Contractor to issue a Contract on your behalf, or even the D.O.Y. and your profession/activity.
You acknowledge that when a Job is posted on Hiremykonos, your Personal Information is not initially published, but only the information related to the Job, as defined in the previous paragraph. However, when a Professional is interested in your Work and pays the Worker the required units in order to obtain your contact information and submit his Offer, then the Worker shares with him the following (or some of the following) Your Personal data:
- Your full name
- Your landline and/or mobile phone number
- Your e-mail (if you have notified us).
You acknowledge that you agree unconditionally with the disclosure of your above personal information to the Professionals who are interested in your Work and authorize the Worker to do so.
3-Customer Obligations when providing Personal Data
You acknowledge that you have the obligation to declare the real, accurate and complete information requested by the User during the registration process and creation of a personal account,but also at any other time such information is requested about you. Further, you must notify the Worker of any changes to this information in order to keep it up-to-date and accurate. If it is established by the User that you do not comply with your above obligations or if the User has reasonable suspicions that the information you provide is false or incomplete or in any way contrary to the law or the Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy , Hiremykonos has the right to reject your application for registration or to immediately suspend or terminate your account without notice. In this case, you have no right to any compensation due to the rejection of your application, or the suspension or termination of your account.
You acknowledge that the Servicer may delete, cross-reference, supplement or modify the information you provide based on information lawfully provided by third parties.
All of the above information that you provide to the Hiremykonos is recorded in its databases by automatic electronic or other means.
4-Collection of other data by the User
4.1Website browsing and usage data
When you use our website, we collect anonymous information such as your IP address and basic web log information such as your browser type and the pages you browsed on our website, browser language, date and time of the request etc. We may identify the pages that led you to our software, although we do not associate this information with your Personal Information.
Furthermore, when you visit Hiremykonos, we send a “cookie” to your computer. Cookies are small files that are stored in the browser and store information about the use of the Website on your hard drive. This allows us to recognize your computer the next time you use our website. Please note that all information contained in cookies is encrypted for security reasons. Cookies, by themselves, cannot be used to identify the user’s Personal Information.

4.2Professional Reviews
Each time you select a Professional through the Hiremykonos Services, the Hiremykonos asks you to rate/evaluate the services the Professional provided to you. You unreservedly accept that the Worker may collect and aggregate these ratings/ratings of you for the Professionals you have worked with. These evaluations/scores will not be disclosed to any third party in a way that makes you identifiable, but serve to form an overall and anonymous image and evaluation of the Professional.
Please be objective in your review. In this way, you will also contribute to creating a correct and real image of the Professional, which will help other Customers in their decision on whether to work with him. You acknowledge that the Servicer reserves the right to delete your review, especially when it is particularly burdensome and the Servicer, after contacting both parties, believes that the review is untrue or excessive or unfounded and/or that has been done with the intention of damaging the Professional’s reputation.
4.3 Information from communications
You acknowledge that the Hiremykonos may keep a record of the written letters, e-mails or other messages and generally any written communications you have exchanged with the Hiremykonos for any reason.
Further, you agree that your communication with each Professional through the Website Platform is not private and that the Worker may record and keep it on file for security reasons and for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the Website Terms of Use.
You acknowledge that the Service Provider may record its telephone communications with the Customer, exclusively and only to the extent absolutely necessary to effectively serve the purposes of its operation and provision of its services, as well as keep a record of these for a period of six (6) months .
5-Use of Personal and Other Data
Our primary goal in collecting Personal and other data is to provide our Services appropriately and in the best possible way to both you and Hiremykonos Professionals and to offer both of them an improved experience when using our Services. Particularly:
5.1. We use and store the Personal Data you provide to us during your registration in order to create your personal account, to communicate with you, to provide a safe and smooth interface between Customers and Professionals, for the authorized issuance of a Work Seal, for internal use related to the management of Hiremykonos and the improvement of the Services provided, to prevent possible prohibited or illegal activities, for the implementation of the Terms of Use and for any other reason notified to you at the time of the collection of the information. We consider the privacy of such Personal Information very important and for this reason we treat it responsibly.
5.2. You agree and accept that we may use your mobile and/or landline number to call you, among other things, to verify your personal information, to facilitate your appointment with the Professional or even to be informed about the development of your work, in order to ensure you the best possible service.
Also, you agree and accept that we may use the full name, A.F.M. and the A.M.K.A. you for the issuance of a Trade Mark on your behalf, in the event that you authorize us through our Website for this purpose. Furthermore, you understand and accept that in this case, the Professional you have chosen and who will receive the Contract issued by us in your name and on your behalf for its payment, will know the A.F.M. and the A.M.K.A. you, as these details must be written on the Contract.
We use the e-mail you provide us in order to send you the necessary updates and notifications for the provision of our Services. Sending e-mails of such content is completely intertwined with the operation of our Website and the provision of our Services. Therefore, the only way to stop receiving such e-mails is to ask the Hiremykonos to permanently disable your account and your access to its Services.
Further, we use your e-mail in order to send you promotional, advertising and informational messages about our company’s Services. If you do not wish to receive such e-mails, you can click on the relevant option contained in any promotional e-mail we send you.
5.3. We may use your Personal Data to create anonymous information files and/or to provide third parties with benchmarking and aggregate statistics about our Services. Benchmarking and aggregate statistics are anonymous and do not contain personal information, nor are they transferred or sold to third parties in any way or form that identifies or makes you identifiable.
5.4. We use Website browsing and usage data to operate and improve the Website, to diagnose problems with our server and to administer the software, to gather demographic and statistical data, to better advertise and layout our Website , to facilitate your identification during a specific session, etc. Your IP address does not contain any personal information about you.
6-Protection of your Personal Data – Disclosure to third parties
6.1. In order to protect your privacy, Hiremykonos takes care not to disclose your Personal Data to anyone. For this reason, the Work published does not include your personal information. You acknowledge and authorize the Worker to provide your contact information, specifically your name, address, e-mail and mobile and/or landline number, (or any of them) only to Professionals who express an interest in undertaking the Work and pay the Worker the requested units to contact you and in any case the Professional you have accepted to perform your Work.
Hiremykonos expects and asks Professionals to respect your Personal Data, to use it only for the purposes of operating our Website and not to share it with third parties. Nevertheless, the Hiremykonos cannot compel the Professionals to comply with the above commitments and for this reason you acknowledge and accept without reservation that the Hiremykonos bears no responsibility whatsoever, nor does he owe any kind of compensation in the event that a Professional who has access your Personal Data, use it for purposes other than providing its services to you in connection with a particular posted Job, or share it with third parties without your permission.
6.2. Hiremykonos uses encryption when Personal Information is transmitted between your system and ours, and puts in place firewalls and intrusion detection systems to help prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to your information. Furthermore, it carries out continuous checks through its technicians, in order to ensure the transmission of information and the safe and secure use of the Website by the Customers and its users in general, free from possible malicious software (eg viruses) and from possible arbitrary access to personal information of users. Because there is no foolproof security system, the Hiremykonos cannot guarantee that its efforts will be completely successful every time, with respect to the Website and its hosting provider. In this regard, the Servicer is not responsible for any loss or damage that you may suffer from unauthorized access to your Personal Information by third parties or the inadvertent disclosure of such information during transit, and it is pointed out that you are obliged to take all necessary security and protection measures your system and your passwords and personal accounts and you acknowledge the associated risks when using the Website and submitting information to it.

However, please be aware that a Professional who had previously accessed some of your Personal Information may have saved the Information you deleted. The Hiremykonos bears no responsibility in this case. Further, hiremykonos reserves its right to archive and access the deleted Personal Information.
To modify, update or delete your Personal Information as above, you should submit your request in writing to contact@hiremykonos.com and specify the Personal Information you want to modify, update or delete.
8-Account Deactivation
If for any reason you would like us to deactivate your account and stop using your Personal Information, as well as disclosing it to any third party, please contact us at contact@hiremykonos.com. In this case we will deactivate your account and prevent third parties from accessing your Personal Information, subject to the provisions of paragraph 1 of article 7 above.
9-Links to other websites
Hiremykonos may contain links to websites that are not owned or controlled by Hiremykonos. Hiremykonos does not control these links, which do not operate under this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy statements found on these third-party websites to inform yourself of their practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal and non-personal information.
10-Transfer of Personal Data abroad
The servers that make this Website available, as well as the databases in which the information is stored, may be located outside of Greece, but within the European Union. Despite the fact that the applicable data protection legislation and other laws of the European Union are as complete as those imposed by the legislation in Greece, please be assured that in any case we make every effort to ensure the processing of your personal data in accordance with national law and any other relevant applicable law.
11-Respect for the Personal Data of third parties
Just as Hiremykonos requires the Professionals on the Website to respect the Personal Data of Customers, so it also requires you to respect the Personal Data of the Professionals you access from our Website.
For example, you are obliged to use the Professionals’ Personal Data exclusively and only within the framework and in accordance with the purpose of Hiremykonos’ operation. In particular, you gain access to the contact information of each Professional who has expressed interest in your Work, so that you can get in touch with him and learn what his Offer is, but also negotiate the more specific terms of the agreement that you will conclude together of. Furthermore, you gain access to the Professional’s Profile and ratings to gain an insight into their professional skills and qualifications. You acknowledge and agree that you will not use the Personal Information of the Professionals for any purpose that is unlawful or contrary to the Terms of Use and other Operating Policies of Hiremykonos In particular, with respect to the professional license or degrees that a Professional may have posted on his Profile, you acknowledge that these are available to you in order to enhance the credibility of the Professional and you are prohibited from copying or using them for any reason. Further, you agree that under no circumstances will you disclose the Professional’s Personal Information to third parties without their consent.
12-Governing Law – Mediation – Arbitration
This Privacy Policy is subject to Greek law. Any dispute that may arise from this Privacy Policy will be resolved by mediation in accordance with the rules of the Hellenic Mediation and Arbitration Center in Athens, as it will exist and operate at the time the dispute enters mediation. Mediation is mandatory before the case is referred to arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved by mediation, it shall be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Hellenic Center for Mediation and Arbitration in Athens, as it shall exist and operate at the time the dispute is submitted to arbitration. If the parties have not agreed on the appointment of an arbitrator within five (5) days of the request for arbitration, then a three-member panel is appointed by the Hellenic Mediation and Arbitration Center itself.
